A quick overview of how the platform and business responsibilities fit together.

Does chitz™ sell or promote customer plans?

No. chitz™ is a technology and business-administration platform. Businesses configure and operate their own plans. Platform records may make a business-configured plan accessible through supported member, POS or online interfaces; that does not make chitz™ the seller or promoter of the plan.

Who decides the plan terms and benefits?

The business defines and communicates its own plan terms, including benefits, eligibility, missed-payment treatment, suspension, resumption, cancellation and redemption. The platform records and automates configured workflows.

Can members enrol online or in-store?

Both flows can be supported where enabled: members may enrol online, or a store operator may enrol them through POS or the platform backend.

Can payment methods such as UPI, cards and NEFT be supported?

Payment workflows can be integrated according to the configured provider and business process. Availability depends on the implementation and payment provider.

What happens if a member misses payments?

A business may configure operational rules such as suspension after a specified number of missed months. Resumption and any cancellation or redemption benefit treatment are determined by the business's terms and applicable obligations.

Does chitz™ guarantee that a business plan is legally compliant?

No. The platform does not determine the legal classification or compliance of a business's plan. Each business must independently assess and fulfil the laws and obligations applicable to its own operations, and publish appropriate terms and policies.

Which business segments can use chitz?

The platform supports a broad business mix, including jewellery, silver and watches; textiles and fashion; electronics; furniture and appliances; automotive; building materials; other retail and services; and travel and experiences.
